This is a picture of Callie (one of our wonderful 2010 graduating seniors) holding Callie (our sweet baby). The class of 2010 is very special to us as they are our first and only class we got to work with in youth group for all 4 years! We are so proud of them, the work they've put in, their achievements, and most of all their love for the Lord! It's been fun looking back at pictures from their freshman year, when Dave and I first came to Grace Church through now. They have matured physically, mentally, and spiritually! Dave will most likely be transitioning into a new role in the fall, so this last round of graduations is an emotional and exciting time--it kinda feels like we are graduating, too.
Callie (our baby) is doing great! She is regularly sleeping through the night and is a wonderful baby during the day as well. God has really blessed us! She has a beautiful smile, which she loves to show us-along with her very talented tongue! One of her favorite things to do is be in her swing while Daddy does his exercise video. She especially likes it when he gets to the "jab/cross" punches. Dave says "jab/cross, Callie" and she smiles and does it with him. Here's a picture of her smiling-notice she's getting chubby cheeks!
Dave and I met at Western Baptist College where we both graduated with ministry degrees. Dave is the Lead Pastor at Grace Community Church in Dallas. We welcomed our daughter Callie Sue in March of 2010 and our second daughter Maggie Grace in February 2013. We are in the midst of the exciting and sometimes terrifying but rewarding journey of parenting young children! I work a couple mornings a week for a real estate broker at Windermere Real Estate. In our free time, we enjoy relaxing at home, spending time with our families and going to the beach!
